What is an annual physical exam?
An annual physical examination is a routine checkup at which Dr. Ragu checks for a broad range of health conditions. They are an important tool in the prevention and screening of serious diseases. Your doctor may discover any number of health concerns during a physical, including heart disease, lung disease, or problems with your vital signs.
It’s important to stay healthy between physicals. To do so, you should

- Eat a plant-based diet low in animal fats
- Don’t smoke
The time a physical takes varies based on the health of the patient. Some patients may require many extra tests that elongate the duration of the physical. Dr. Ragu takes the extra time to answer any questions you may have so that you can leave feeling confident about your treatment plan.
